Tailor-made Jordan Tours 2026, 2027 & 2028

Jordan is home to the 2,000-year-old rock-cut city of Petra. It is a country where you can move from the well-preserved Roman theatres of Jerash to the lowest point on earth at the Dead Sea in a single afternoon. From the iron-red deserts and granite peaks of Wadi Rum to the Crusader battlements of Karak Castle, Jordan offers direct access to the Levant’s archaeological sites. Experience the Great Rift Valley, the mosaic-filled churches of Madaba, and Levantine hospitality that has welcomed travellers since the days of the Silk Road.

Why Travel to Jordan?

The Rose-Red City

Hidden behind the 1.2-kilometre Siq gorge, Petra’s 2,000-year-old facades are carved into iron-rich sandstone. Beyond the Al-Khazneh (Treasury), the site extends to the Royal Tombs and a 1st-century Roman-style theatre, culminating in an 800-step climb to Ad Deir (The Monastery), the city’s largest hand-carved monument.

Dead Sea Floatation

Situated 430 metres below sea level, the Dead Sea contains a 34% salt concentration, making it impossible for humans to sink. This hypersaline environment is rich in magnesium and potassium, while the high atmospheric pressure and oxygen density create a microclimate used for heliotherapy and skin treatments since the Roman era.

Wadi Rum

Wadi Rum is a 720-square-kilometre wilderness of red sand and 1,700-metre granite massifs. Still inhabited by the Zalabia Bedouin, the desert features the Burdah Rock Bridge and the Khazali Canyon, which contains Petroglyphs and inscriptions dating back to the Thamudic period. The landscape served as the 1917 base for T.E. Lawrence and the Arab Revolt.
