Tailor-made Pakistan Tours 2026, 2027 & 2028

Pakistan is the meeting point of the world’s three highest mountain ranges: the Himalayas, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush. It contains five of the world’s 14 peaks above 8,000 metres, including K2, and the highest density of glacial ice outside the polar regions. From the 2,500-year-old Gandharan Buddhist ruins to the high-altitude Karakoram Highway, Pakistan has a scale of vertical landscape and Silk Road heritage that is unique in South Asia.

Why Travel to Pakistan?

Old Streets of Lahore

The 16th-century Walled City is anchored by the Badshahi Mosque, capable of holding 100,000 worshippers, and the UNESCO-listed Lahore Fort with its 400-metre Picture Wall. In the narrow lanes of Delhi Gate, the 17th-century Wazir Khan Mosque showcases intricate kashi-kari tilework. Locals gather in Gawalmandi Food Street for charsi tikka, while the scent of jasmine and the sound of qawwali music define the city’s Mughal-era courtyards.

Karakoram Highway

This 1,300-kilometre engineering feat follows the Indus River, reaching 4,693 metres at the Khunjerab Pass. In the Hunza Valley, 700-year-old Baltit Fort overlooks 7,788-metre Rakaposhi, while the Killer Mountain, Nanga Parbat, rises 8,126 metres at the Himalayan western anchor. Travelers navigate the Attabad Lake’s turquoise waters and cross the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, surrounded by the world’s highest concentration of 7,000-metre peaks.

Ancient South

In Sindh, the 2,500 BCE ruins of Mohenjo-Daro feature the world’s first planned drainage systems and the Great Bath. To the south, the Makli Necropolis spans 10 square kilometres, containing 500,000 sandstone tombs. In Karachi, the British-era Frere Hall and the red-brick Empress Market stand beside the Arabian Sea, where the Clifton Beach coastline meets a megacity of 20 million defined by its chaotic port and vibrant truck art.
